Kintsugi Repair Kit Gold - Humade
Description
Turn a break into something special
A broken plate, bowl or vase doesn't have to be lost. With the Humade Kintsugi Repair Kit Gold, you can give damaged ceramics and other objects a second life. The break is not hidden, but rather highlighted with a beautiful gold-colored seam.
This makes every repair part of the design. A beautiful way to restore a beloved object while simultaneously turning it into something unique.
Kintsugi: repairs meant to be seen
Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese repair technique in which cracks in ceramics are intentionally kept visible. Instead of hiding the damage, the lines are accentuated. Imperfection thus becomes part of the object's history and beauty.
Humade has translated this special principle into a practical repair kit that you can use yourself. The gold-colored finish turns every break into a decorative detail.
Everything you need in one kit
The Kintsugi Repair Kit contains two-component glue, 4 grams of gold powder, a brush, bamboo mixing sticks, and gloves. Additionally, 10 grams of putty are included to fill in small missing pieces and irregularities.
With the step-by-step manual featuring clear photos, you can get started at home. The manual is available in Dutch, English, Spanish, German, and French.
Not just for ceramics
Although kintsugi is primarily known as a technique for repairing ceramics, according to Humade, this kit can also be used for glass, wood, marble, and hard plastics, among other things.
Depending on the size of the damage, you can repair up to approximately 10 objects with one kit. Allow the repaired object to cure for about 48 hours afterward, and always read the included manual before use.
Humade at SuperMatique
Humade shows that a damaged object doesn't have to become less beautiful – sometimes it is quite the opposite. This fits perfectly with SuperMatique, where we select special brands and products with an unconventional style and a unique appearance. Objects with character, a story, and just that little bit extra.
