Kintsugi Repair Kit Silver - Humade
Description
Give broken ceramics a new story
A crack or break doesn't have to be the end. With the Kintsugi Repair Kit Silver by Humade, you can repair broken ceramics and other materials using the principle of the Japanese kintsugi technique. Instead of hiding the break, you accentuate it with a striking silver-colored seam.
The result is not just a repaired object, but a unique piece in which the traces of use actually become part of the design. Beautiful for a cherished plate, vase, bowl, or other object that deserves a second life.
Kintsugi: the beauty of imperfection
Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese repair technique in which damaged ceramics are restored and the fracture lines are deliberately left visible. The philosophy behind it fits beautifully with the idea that damage and change can be part of an object's history.
Humade has translated this principle into a practical repair kit that you can use yourself. The silver-colored finish gives the repaired lines a special and decorative character.
What is in the Kintsugi Repair Kit?
The set contains two-component glue, 4 grams of silver powder, a brush, bamboo mixing sticks, and gloves. Additionally, 10 grams of putty are included to fill in small missing pieces and irregularities.
A step-by-step manual with clear photos will help you during the repair process. The manual is available in Dutch, English, Spanish, German, and French.
For ceramics and other materials
With one set, you can perform multiple repairs, depending on the size of the damage. According to Humade, the set is suitable for up to approximately 10 repairs and, in addition to ceramics, can also be used for materials such as glass, wood, marble, and hard plastics.
After repairing, the object must cure for approximately 48 hours before the glue has fully hardened. Always read the included manual before use.

Humade gives damaged objects a second life and makes repairing something to be shown off. That fits in nicely with SuperMatique, where we select special brands and products with an unconventional style and unique look. Objects that are just a little bit different and have a story behind them.
