SuperMatique is an official dealer of the special DCW Éditions lamp collection.
DCW editions is a French company that produces many great classic lamps. started with their favorite lamp, the Lampe Gras, the collection has grown over time into a special collection of lamps, including the lamps Mantis by Bernard Schottlander, Here Comes the Sun by Bert Bala, ISP by Ilia Sergueïevitch Potemine, the Biny lamps by Jacques Biny and the Dormael Collection by Éric de Dormael.
In our store we have part of the DCW collection as a showroom model. All lamps from the collection can be ordered and have a general delivery time of 1 to 2 weeks.
The MANTIS collection
As an admirer of Alexander Calder, Bernard Schottlander created the series "MANTIS" lamps in 1951.
As movement is inherent in all of Schottlander's work: as movement last, engineer and not handyman instead, he devised a slender system of counterweights combined with a series of strong and flexible metal rods.
The hood is also unique in its kind. Made of aluminum using special turning techniques, the designer has managed to create a shape in which the symmetrical and asymmetrical forms are in balance.
