Flowers are natural products and as such have variations in color and size. The photos are representative of what can be produced. Small color and shape variations of the flower are the charm of the product.
The large paperweights have a diameter of 85 mm - the small 65 mm.
Thistle
Thistles are easily recognized by their spiky stem and leaves, and the inflorescence of purple, dark pink or lavender flowers that form a cup at the end of the stem(s). The dried head persists after flowering, with small seeds that ripen in mid-autumn.
